Spanish course & volunteering

Mediterranean Spanish Courses offers you the possibility of showing your most caring side and doing something for those in need while studying in Malaga. During this course you will have Spanish class in the morning and volunteer in the afternoon (minimum 10 hours per week).

Volunteering is an incredible experience for our students because, in addition to doing altruistic work, they improve their Spanish and can use their volunteering work to improve their resume.

During these hiking afternoons you will be accompanied by a professional hiking guide who teach you all about Malaga’s landscape, the region and the indigenous species. To make the immersion even more complete, the guide will teach you all of this in Spanish.

What can I do as a volunteer?

We offer the following volunteering jobs:

- Teach English to disadvantaged children.

- Work in an animal shelter.

- Cook food for people in need and serve it to them.

- Work in charity shops.

There are two ways to do this course:

  1. Volunteer and take Spanish classes at the same time. The Spanish classes would be in the morning and the volunteering is in the afternoon.
  2. Do the Spanish course first and start your volunteering after the course ends.
